[…] These are busy days for Nick Page (also known by his monikers Count Dubulah, Tax D and Kid Ouzo): an ongoing tour with Transglobal Underground, various remixes and a brand new album with his creature Dub Colossus in the making have filled his recent months. The “writer, producer, guitar and bass player, remixer, editor and programmer”, who has given a new meaning to the term global sound, has also recently found some spare time to compile a playlist for us featuring tunes that he was “listening [to] and liking while making new album Dr Strangedub”.
All wonderful! The folk of Manchester missed a great opportunity last Thursday - wish more had turned out.

Love the Ethiopianisation of Uptown Top Ranking & the Alton Ellis reference to the original I'm Still in Love With You.

Look forward to the next instalment!

Hi Nick,
Congrats on success of new album and wishing you more success in the future. Think we last spoke at Larry Whelan's wedding - and I came down for a Dub Colossus album launch at Bloomsbury Ballroom. A propos I'm about to start a kickstarter project to raise money to record tracks/album with folk producer Gerry Diver: project is an oud duo I've formed with a former Sham 69 German keyboard player. We're starting from scratch but are interested to hear about any pitfalls/things to look out for from someone who's been successful in going the crowdfunding route. Hope you can oblige, All the best Keith
